I’m actually ashamed to admit, that it was nothing for me, to spend well over $50 a month, trying to find a mascara that did on me, what it showed to do on TV. My lashes aren’t naturally long, and due to the damage the glue was doing to the lashes I did have, falsies were no longer an option for me. (Side note – I discovered later, that if you read the fine print on those commercials, it clearly states they use false lashes to make their mascara look that good.)
I kept seeing this “amazing 3D mascara”, posted in a few facebook groups I belonged to. After two months, I decided it wouldn’t hurt to try it. At worst, I was wasting another $29, at best I was saving $20 for the month. Well, then I went to a random site, and saw that for $70 more, this makeup junkie could get a lot more than mascara. I guess it’s pretty obvious what I did…lol.
Two years later, and that mascara – Younique 3D Fiber Lash+ – is still my go to mascara. I’m allowed to walk into Sephora by myself, because the hubby knows I’m not going to be spending $300+ in their. I can’t tell you the last time I walked into a store, and walked down a makeup aisle. Wow…uhmm…I really can’t. And for a makeup addict, that’s saying a lot.
Oh, turns out that $29 mascara, that came in that $99 kit? It did turn oit to live up to the hype, and then some. its the best lengthening mascara ive found, at any price point. While it didn’t cure an addiction, it did let me find a way to get my makeup for free. And hey, who can pass up top quality makeup, for no cost? 😁 I know my husband likes it a lot better.
