This last week has been CRAZY busy for me! I normally keep about 20 of the 3D Fiber Lash Mascara on hand. And, I had that on Monday. I really did. As of last night, I don’t have any left. I’m almost in panic mode!
Seriously. What am I supposed to do, until my next order arrives? For the first time in the 8 months I’ve been selling, I will have to tell women that I don’t have their addiction on hand. :O
Ok, now I’ll be serious. Being sold out means that I sell an amazing product, for an even more amazing company. This isn’t a one shot thing, where women don’t like it, or decide it wasn’t that great after all. I am selling out, not only because they are telling their friends, but because they are making repeat purchases. Several repeat purchases, as many of my customers fall in love with it, and give it as gifts to their mothers, daughters, and friends.
Being as I have been in Direct Sales for several years, this shouldn’t be that surprising to me, I know. However, with my previous company, I didn’t get this high of a volume of repeat customers. That, to me at least, speaks volumes about Younique, and their commitment to quality. To have a product that is loved by women so much, that they want to share it with other women, truly is inspiring.
I know I am always going on about Younique, and I concentrate on the 3D Mascara. It’s because it is our top seller. After reading through this post, I realized I didn’t mention that many of those repeat customers are also buying other products. Many of them have made the switch to Younique, completely and totally. I’m one of them. I haven’t used another makeup, or skin care product, in at least 7 months. From a cosmetic junkie, that is saying a lot.
I can now walk past Sephora, and not feel that tug inside me, telling me that I HAVE to buy something. I can look at MAC products, and not be tempted to spend my entire pay on them. I guess you could say I’ve lost my addiction. Which is a good thing! (Especially for my wallet…lol) Don’t get me wrong, I’m still spending money on makeup. I’m just spending less, on products that work better, and last longer. And, even though it’s been at least 7 months of this, it still amazes me. 🙂
