Eight months ago, I made a split second decision. As someone who normally has to think things through, thoroughly, for sometimes weeks on end – this was totally unlike me.
I had planned on buying a set of this new “amazing” 3D Mascara, just to see if it even began to live up to the hype. By planned, I mean that I looked at it about 7 different times, over about a month, before deciding to buy it. (See, that’s how I normally work.)
That night though, I went to a website to actually purchase it. I saw this little “Join” tab sitting up there, right above the mascara tab. As I had done Direct Sales before, I knew that for my $99, I could get a starter kit, most likely worth much more than that $99.
So, I clicked that “Join” tab I found out that for that $99, not only did I get this “amazing” mascara, I also would get a free website (who doesn’t love free – it gets me everytime), a set of brushes, catalogs, and a tester of every single mineral pigment powder that Younique currently sold – which included blushes, eye shadows, and concealers.
For whatever reason, I found myself filling out the form to become a Presenter. I didn’t discuss it with the hubby. I justified it by telling myself that would be less time spent in the makeup aisles in the shops for the next month or two. And, it was only $70 more than the 3D Fiber Lash was on it’s own.
I finished the form. I had a website. On a lark, I threw the link up on my facebook page. I created an event on facebook, and invited a few people. I didn’t think it would go anywhere. I sold over $2000 in product that first month. And the second month. And the third month.
By the third month, I had a decent size downline. I still wasn’t sure where this was going to go. I was not a makeup salesperson. Just a makeup junkie. I had planned on being a kitnapper. But, I was making money. I was meeting all kinds of new people with my networking.
Oh, and the 3D Fiber Lash Mascara?? It wasn’t hype. It worked. In fact, just a few pictures of myself wearing it, spurred so many sales, that I can’t even begin to count them. That picture at the top of this post? That was one of the first, if not the very first picture I posted. To this day, I look at it, and I know that the split second decision, was well worth it.
I’m making money, meeting new friends, helping others succeed, and introducing the world to a naturally based line of makeup, that I fully believe in. My skin looks better than it has in years. I’m actually wearing makeup, more than not, the past 8 months.
So, to all that keep asking, “Is it worth it to sell Younique?”, my answer is a huge, “YES!! It is more than worth it!”
To those who question whether that “amazing” 3D Fiber Lash Mascara works – another big YES, it really does!
