Some of the searches that lead to my blog are not what I would exactly expect, to say the least…lol. However, there is one that really bothers me.
It’s a very short, simple one: “younique scam”.
Really? How in the world is selling makeup a scam? Does that mean that Avon, or Mary Kay are scams? What about MAC, Covergirl, Loreal, etc. Are the scams, too?
It’s something like 84% of women who earn $1 million or more a year, do so through Direct Sales.
Rest assured that Younique makeup, 3D Fiber Lashes mascara, the opportunity to sell, buying it, and more – are all very legitimate. It isn’t some pyramid scheme, or some fake get rich quick scam.
I get out of it what I put into it. That means that if I work an hour a week, I don’t get much. I work ten hours a week, I get decent sales. If I work 30+ hours a week, I get amazing results.
Just because I, and others who do other companies don’t work 9 to 5, doesn’t mean we don’t work. We do. And, to have people think that the work I do is a scam, is insulting.
I sell professional quality makeup, and I happen to do it online, or face to face. My products aren’t cheaply made, and they last through over 16 hours of wear.
I’ve worked retail, and in my opinion that is a scam. Minimum wage, where you watch thousands upon thousands of dollars being spent each shift, knowing that the owners are raking it in, and your stuck with crappy hours, working holidays, missing your kids events, and make minimum wage. Now, you tell me which is a bigger scam.
For any skeptics, I would be willing to speak with you about it. I may, or may not, change you mind. That’s ok. Feel free to text or call me at 806-717-1741.
