It seems many of my viewers get here by searching for answers to questions about the 3D Fiber Lash mascara, from Younique. So, I figured I would answer some of those questions for you, and hopefully make you feel more comfortable with them. 😉
Q: How long does the 3D Fiber Lashes mascara last?
A: There are two answers to this. 1) If you are wondering how long the set of mascara and fibers will last, the answer is about three months, with daily use. 2) If you want to know how long they will last throughout the day, I have worn mine for over 16 hours with no problems.
Q: Why am I getting fibers on my face from Younique’s 3D Fiber Lash mascara?
A: I have never personally had this problem, but the answer lies in the application. Apply the gel to the entire lash, and apply the fibers on the tips of your lashes only, then follow up with another full coat of gel. Always, and I mean always, end with a coat of the mascara transplanting gel. It is what draws the fibers out for length, and seals the fibers to your lashes. Also, less fibers is more. If you wish for more length, add another coat. However, remember: gel, fibers, gel. Never end with the fibers step.
Q: Is 3D Fiber Lash mascara hypoallergenic / waterproof?
A: Yes, it is hypoallergenic. As to waterproof, it is technically classified as water resistant. I have gone swimming in mine, and as long as I don’t rub my eyes, I have no problems. One customer reported that even after a ten minute crying jag, hers were still on. (She didn’t offer details, so no, I don’t know why she was crying )
Q: Do I have to wear a coat of regular mascara under my 3D Fiber Lash mascara?
A: No. With the new formula, it is no longer suggested.
Q: What is the cost of the 3D Fiber Lash mascara from Younique?
A: The price is $29, plus tax and shipping. (Note: shipping is free on any purchase over $100)
Q: Can I wear Younique’s 3D Fiber Lash mascara with contacts?
A: Yes. Approximately 40% of my customers wear contacts. I’ve had one woman report she had issues with fibers getting in her eyes. That is one women in over 100 customers of mine that wear contacts.
Q: Can you make money by selling Younique and/or 3D Fiber Lash mascara?
A: Yes. As with any job, or way of making money, there is some work involved. Do not expect to sit back, and it magically sell itself.
Q: Is Younique a scam?
A: No. Younique uses the network marketing strategy, where people buy a starter kit, and sign up to sell. You are not required to sign anyone under you, though to sign up, you will need to sign under a current Presenter, such as myself. You can sell as little as $125 in a three month period, and stay active. There is no hidden auto ships, like there are with some companies.

It takes approximately 5 to 7 days to arrive, sometimes less.

Testing, as in at parties? I order bulk mascara wands online.
How long does it take to be shipped in Georgia?
From the time you enter your order, it takes about two days to process it. From there, it is shipped 2 Day service through the Post Office.

How long does the Fiber Lashes last if not used daily? Say maybe once or twice a week? Meaning do they expire?
Most makeup experts tell you not to keep mascara (any brand), longer than 6 months, due to bacteria that can build up in it, possibly causing infections. Which one to two times a week, it should last you the full 6 months.
I feel like after a week or 2 the fibers aren’t on the applicator like they are when you first open it. Do they stick to the inside of the tube? Any remedy for this? I was told to 0ut the tube on a cup of warm water for a few minutes but that didn’t work either.
In my experience, the wand can get too many fibers on it, so about once every week or two, I scrape some off the wand. I also slightly loosen the cap on the fiber tube, and turning it upside down, tap it on the edge of a counter. This helps to loosen all the fibers, that have become compacted I the bottom of the tube. Another remedy, is to unbend a Bobby pin, and “stir” the tube, if that makes sense. 😉 if you have anymore questions, please feel free to email me, or contact me on Facebook.

It sounds like you are putting them on, too thick. Try applying thinner layers, and slowly building up to the length you want. If you still have questions, feel free to email me.
Does the mascara only come in black?
Yes, it is only available in black, but you can apply a coat of brown mascara over it.
does this mascara come in the color brown?
Right now, it only comes in black. However, you can top it off with any brown mascara, and still get the lengthening effect.
One of the ingredients is collagen. Where does the collagen come from?
Our collagen is plant derived.

I received two of the fiberlash mascara’s for Christmas. Will the one I haven’t open still be good in a couple months when I’ve ran out of the one I’ve opened?
Yes, as long as you haven’t opened it, it will be fine in a few months. 😉 It’s when we start using mascara,and we introduce our own bacteria to it, that the shelf life gets reduced.
I just purchased and I accidently put
The fiber brush in the gel and vice versa. Yikes!
Did I ruin my product?!
You should be able to clean off each brush, let the brushes dry, and they should be fine. If the fibers seem to stick together, simply loosen the cap slightly, and tap upside down on the edge of a counter.

I just received the Gimme all Collection this morning and I am in love with all of Younique’s products! I know this may be a silly question to ask but is the 3d fiber lash mascara safe to sleep in? If you’ve forgotten to remove it before going to bed.
Not silly at all 😉 I’ve been guilty of doing this, more times than I want to admit. I wouldn’t recommend doing it daily, but if it happens occasionally, you will be fine.

Most of us charge retail, plus tax. For example, in my area, it comes to $31 and some change. So, I round it down to $31. Hope that helps! 😘
Is it hard to remove ? Also does it smug, like on a hot day?
It is super easy to remove, with any face wash, or eye makeup remove. In the two years I’ve been wearing, I’ve never had t smudge on me, and I live in the lovely Texas heat. 😉

There are two tubes, the transplanting gel (mascara), and the plant based fibers. It is a three step process. Apply the gel, then the fibers, then the gel. It will take practicing once or twice, but after that, it will take no longer than putting on a few coats of mascara. Detailed instructions will come with the product. 💋

Depending on what shipping option you chose, it should be in within 5 to 10 business days. As to your lashes, yes, it should work for you! There is a learning curve, to see what works best for you. I recommend taking time, to practice applying it, three or so times.
